About Benjamin Levesque
Benji is a wonderful boy who hasnât had the best start to life - but you wouldnât know this by his exuberant and loving personality. An affectionate boy, all Benji wants is to be with his humans no matter what you are doing. He loves to gaze into your eyes, and if he can catch you off guard will sneak a smoochy kiss in. He travels well in the car and is inquisitive and excited by the sights and sounds of the world around him.
Benji has lots of energy and loves to romp around. He understands the command to sit and is learning âoffâ as he does jump up to say hello. He is a smart dog who wants to please and responds well to boundaries set. His new family will need to continue this training with him.
Benji gets along well with other dogs. An ideal forever home for him with be with an active adult family/person or a family with older children. He is a sweet boy but may accidentally bump smaller children over.
Benji will be an amazing companion. His heart is full of love and hope; all he wants is special humans to share his life with.
Benji is not tested with cats.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adoptersâ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
