About Rocky DL2153
A young, active boy, Rocky would love a place with a big yard with plenty of room to chase his ball and play with rope toys.
He especially loves going for his twice daily walk/run on the bush trails. After his morning adventure, he’ll happily spend the day outside chewing on a juicy bone. At night, he sleeps on his bed in front of the TV.
Rocky is a fast learner and responds well to treats. He’s already learned basic cues; he can sit and come when called. He is still learning his manners, so will be well matched with a confident and experienced dog owner who can continue his training. As he can jump up and mouth playfully, he isn’t suited to young kids.
Rocky is great on the lead without distractions, however he is reactive to passing dogs, so you will need to be physically strong to walk him, and must work on his socialization training to ensure he is set up to succeed.
He has had play-dates with another dog, but he forgets his manners when excited, so things tend to escalate quickly. For this reason, he’ll need to be your only pet at home, while you concentrate on his social manners and training.
If you’d love to work with Rocky and welcome him into your home, contact DFL today to apply!
