About Honey
Honey is a lovely, easy companion to have around. She loves to go on adventures and is the best sidekick to enjoy meeting friends and exploring new places.
Honey is good with dogs and cats. She would love to be in a home with lots of space to run around and another dog for a friend.
Honey has some laryngeal dysfunction which means her breathing sounds noisy if she is excited or has been exercising. The vets don't think it's anything to worry about but please ask questions regarding this if you would like further information.
Honey loves to play. Especially in water!! Water is her favourite thing... and other dogs... water with other dogs to play too is the best thing in the world! So, her adopting family needs to have their own dam or be frequent beach goers.
Honey is great with kids, particularly older kids who can join in with her games.
She walks well on the lead but can get excited if she sees another dog and wants to run over to play. She is learning to contain her excitement and a knowledgeable owner will manage her exuberant behaviour. With a playmate she is happy to have a good sniff in new environments.
Ideally Honey's new home will be with an active family who can include her in their lives, who already have a dog who wants a happy playmate and who have a large property to give her the space and activity she deserves.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
