Hi, my name is Roxy. I have a beautiful thick black coat that shines, just like my personality. I know how to sit, shake and stay. I love going for walks, but I’m still learning to walk on my lead. I would much rather go to open fields and run around with doggy friends. I love going to creeks, where I quickly learnt to swim against the current and going to parks where I can run free. I always remember to come back to my foster parents though. I’m very sociable and love meeting new friends. My foster mum and dad take me for a walk to get coffee and I get to meet all the other dogs and humans who say I have a lovely coat. I love meeting new doggy friends. I am a little nervous to start with, but once i warmed up, we’re best of friends. I am mostly a good girl inside and haven’t had an accident in a long time! I am very well-behaved during car trips, (so my foster mum says). I enjoy lots of cuddles, fuss and forehead kisses and love being around people, especially when I can snuggle up to their feet and keep them warm. I have a bit of energy, but my parents make sure I get plenty of exercise. I sleep outside and don’t feel the need to bark, not like my silly doggy neighbours. I am a loyal girl and will follow you around the house and garden to make sure you’re ok. When I’m off the lead I always stop, and look back to make sure you’re still coming. I always try my hardest at everything I do, try my best to be good girl and do what my foster parents say I must do. I promise I’ll try to learn new things and new ways for you, as I am a fast learner, to be obedient, and love you forever. It’s been a bit of a rocky start for me, but I hope that one day I can find my furever family, because I will make a lovely family member!
