About Max ~ Border Collie (on trial 12/5/19)
Max is a very handsome 18 month old Border Collie. Due to no fault of his own he is looking for a new home with an active family.
Max has been living in a farm environment and would love a similar lifestyle with a large yard to run around in. He is also used to other dogs so would be best with a furry friend. He is unknown with pocket pet and cats.
Max being a Border Collie is a bright boy and trained well but of course would enjoy more training. Learning new things, Max will thrive. He is happy to have a lounge around but does need his exercise and being taken out with the family to the beach or park is ideal.
Max sleeps inside and is toilet trained. He must be allowed to be welcomed inside. He is a great addition to the family.
Max does get excited to see people so can be a bit jumpy for this reason we recommend children over 10 yrs old.

Max's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
