Just recently Magnum was the guinea pig for a training course for Professional dog trainers. Everyone just loved him, and he scored highly in every category, especially "biddable" . Biddable just means that he is very willing and tries to please. He did not fail, or even come close to a fail, at all.
Magnum is a 4yr old Jack Russell X(and weighs approx. 10kg) who is very friendly, toilet trained and a happy boy who does suffer from some anxiety when left at home alone(he will sometimes bark).
Because of this he will require someone home quite a bit, and a secure place if he is left for short periods.
Magnum is in a crate inside at night & when the family is out and thus escaping has never been an issue. He has had some formal training to help him with the anxiety and this is working well.
Magnum will need to be an inside dog as he loves to be your shadow and will follow you every where. He loves his daily walk and is currently living with 2 other small dogs and he gets on well with them.
This boy is amazing with other dogs, fine with confident cats, and loves children.
He does not chew, he doesnt mouth or nip, he is house and toilet trained, only gets on the couch if invited, he is just a lovely boy.
Magnum will need the following and please consider all this before applying:
1. A very calm, patient & firm owner, especially when settling into his new home. You will also be willing to continue professional training with Magnum(at your cost)if required
2. A family that has someone home quite a bit and will embrace him as a family member and he will have full access inside 24/7. His foster carer works from home and this is perfect for him
3. Another friendly, similar age and active dog that he can play with during the day & hang out with at night
4. A crate(placed central to family activities) so he has a safe place to go and also sleep. I call this his bedroom.
5. A daily walk. Magnum loves this and this helps with his anxiety.
Magnum is located in Noble Park.
