About Lola ~ Whippet X (on trial 8/6/19)
Hi! My name is Lola. I’m a 9 month old Whippet X. If you want a constant companion to spend time with you then I’m your girl! I love my humans, children and other friendly dogs who I love to play with. I am quite active, and I need to be walked every day; however I’ll lay inside with you of a night time and a rainy day and happily watch TV. I’m looking for my best friend and a loving family. I will need a home where someone is home a lot or I have a doggy companion.
I love car rides and walks on the beach and enjoy going to the park. My foster mum taught me how to walk on a lead. I do pull sometimes but just need gentle reminders not to pull on the lead. If you let me off at the dog park I will come back to you if you call me. I will jump up on small children so it’s important to keep me on a lead when small children are around.
I sleep inside on a bed in the corner of the lounge room. I would be fine to sleep in the laundry, I don’t mind having my own space. My foster Mum puts me to bed with a blanket and teddies. I love cuddling my teddies and I will stay like this all night and go out for a wee when you let me out. I toilet trained but have had only one accident in the house.
I will warn you if someone is near your property and will bark at anyone walking past if they are visible. My mum gives me bones from the butcher, they occupy me when I’m outside. I have all my adult teeth.
Only the very best of homes will be selected for Lola, so if you think you can offer her a warm caring home, full of hugs, snuggles and kisses, please complete our adoption application and email this to my carer Donna on Timmypebmilo@hotmail.com I am in foster care at Speers Point, NSW (Lake Macquarie area) and I'm available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Lola’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
