Meet TBear (that’s Bear with a silent T).

A 27kg goofball who wants nothing better than to sit with you (or sometimes ON you!) and get as many pats as possible before he settles into another one of his world record naps. He is a pretty relaxed fellow and settles into new environments with a minimal fuss.

His beautiful soul shines through every day, and the longer we’ve known him the more beautiful he becomes.

He currently lives with other dogs and they are great mates. But he would be just as happy to live on his own and as long as he has something to do whilst the humans are out of the house, he won't mind someone who works full time.

His favourite things are: scratches on the head, scratches on his tummy, sardines, chicken, his chew toys, hot chips, walks, being where ever his human is and most of all, sleeping on his back in various different locations.

He sleeps on his bed overnight but has been eyeing off his foster carers bed, so we suspect he would be super keen to jump up and snuggle right in with minimal encouragement.

He is fully toilet trained.
He doesnt dig
He doesnt chew
He isnt much of a barker
He is actually fairly dumb, but so gentle and friendly,
He does need secure fencing.

His positives far outweigh any negatives.

TBear needs to continue his training as he is reactive to other dogs on the lead – he just wants to play but this is demonstrated by whining and barking – this can be a bit intimidating to people as he has a very impressive sounding bark.

That said, he is very good to walk on the lead – as long as you show him who the leader is on the walk – he will happily walk alongside you.

TBear has been tested with children 6 and 9 years old – he would be best suited to children older than this as he gets quite excited and can knock over little ones.

TBear will return any love he is given and sometimes he might even give you one of his famous smiles.

TBear needs to be a city boy, he is not suited to farm life because he wants to play with everything.
