About Jersey Caramel
Meet the Beautiful Jersey Caramel
Jersey was named as such as she looks just like a jersey caramel including bespoke white stripe down her middle! Jersey is about one year old and full of beans, ready for her forever home. She is in great condition and loves to play, jump and get out in the world! She has been learning to not jump on people, and progress in the house is great. She sometimes just stands on her hind legs now instead! She has been fostered with two other similar-sized dogs (male and female) and has been getting along with both very well, and will play with anyone who wants to.
Jersey is learning sit and heel well, though you’ll need to have a strong arm on walks initially to curb her enthusiasm. Jersey is an intelligent dog and responds very well to strong, clear verbal cues, though it is recommended due to her size and excitement that any children in the house are either of teenage years or accustomed to big, bouncy dogs. Jersey is still not totally toilet trained, though accidents are getting further apart. A loving family to support her in this, together with puppy school to refine her skills would work a treat. Regular assurance that she’s a good girl will make her feel warm and fuzzy inside, as ultimately all Jersey wants is love, affection and play (and food, let’s not forget plenty of food!).
We are sure that anyone who looks at Jersey will fall in love with her happy smiling face and expressive demeanour. The wrinkles in her forehead when intrigued are a sight to behold as she channels a far older and wiser soul. Her fur is extremely tactile and some of the best moments are chair cuddles during the quieter times in the evening. She’s truly a great dog to mould as your own new family member.
