About Moronie
Looking for a world class smoocher with a touch of cheekiness? Meet Moronie!
This young boy is as sweet as they come. He just loves people and will happily laze by your side, or on you whilst relaxing or watching TV. He will come and check in to see where you are if he finds himself alone and I’ve never seen a dog get so excited to see you when you get home...even if you’ve only been gone ½ hour!!
Other dogs, of all shapes, sizes and ages are Ronie’s other great love in life and he adores doggy company and play time. He has been in care with large and small dogs, old and young. He will play hard with the young ones and is respectful of the older dogs too. He loves a good squeaky toy or a tug toy, or really, any toy at all! He has a lounge room floor scattered with toys, all of which he plays with and will often be seen trying to entice the other dogs to play a game of tug or chase. He has a real zest for life and is just one of those super friendly, loving dogs that is always happy, smiling and exuberant...with a little bit of cheeky mixed in!
Ronie loves going for car rides and ideally loves getting his boof head out the window, ears flapping in the wind. He will settle easily in the car and will lay down quietly. He can whimper for a few minutes when you leave him in the car but quickly settles and watches the world go by.
This sweet boy needs some further training, especially on lead. He does sit and wait for his dinner, is gentle taking food, is toilet trained and sleeps well during the night. He is an early riser as he knows breakfast is coming and this boy is very food motivated, so ongoing training should be easy. I wouldn’t leave food on the kitchen bench unattended, it may not be there when you want it!!
He would ideally suit a home with another medium to large, youngish and playful dog at home for company and or someone home most days. He will require a moderately active family that will ensure he gets sufficient exercise, stimulation and training. A family with older children would be best as he can get a little excited and hasn’t quite grasped the concept of personal space just yet.
Ronie would make a wonderful additional to any home that suits his needs, will make him an integral part of the family, ensure his ongoing training and doggy socialisation and allow him mostly inside to interact with the family. In return, you’ll get an amazingly sweet, loving dog that thinks the world starts and ends with you.
