About Bonnie
Meet the girl who will steal your heart without even trying.
Bonnie is a real sweetheart, she loves everyone (but especially her “person”), is willing to go on any adventure, and gets along great with children and other dogs.
Bonnie came to us with some anxiety issues, which are now a thing of the past. She is in the process of losing a little weight to ensure she is fit and healthy as she grows older.
Bonnie currently lives with 10 other playful dogs, and I’m sure she would like a desexed, adult playmate in her new home. She loves to play with others, but she does also like some alone time.
She has so far proven to be good around chooks and I believe with a good introduction, she would be fine with cats.
Bonnie is crate trained (which helped to combat her separation anxiety), toilet trained, loves a game of fetch – and brings back the ball! She has an excellent recall, and stays close by when off-leash.
We are looking for a relatively active person, willing to take this sweet girl on daily walks and keep her mind active with some games. This girl would suit an active retired couple with grandchildren, a young adult looking for a little mate, or a family with children who are old enough to understand how to behave around dogs. Really, she is extremely adaptable.
Some past experience in pet ownership would be ideal, and a basic understanding of dog body language.
If you think you may be just who we are looking for, we would love for you to send through an enquiry and tell us why!
Bonnie is located in Ballarat.
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
