About Axle
Axle is a young Jack Russell that is eager to please and is super smart. As he is so young he will be easy to train and is craving a person and/or family that will allow him to be an active member of the family to join in on activities in and outside the home.
Axle currently lives with 2 other male foster dogs (small) and has become a part of the pack, he has also been social with other dogs of all sizes at the dog park although he will need to learn boundaries if living with other dogs. He walks well on a lead (a short video is available on the claws n paws rescue facebook page of him on leash at the park) He is not good with cats and will require additional toilet training, so tolerance of some accidents will be needed.
Axle is an inside and outside dog and has been sleeping inside which he will need to continue to do as part of your family as he gets distressed when left outside.
He is a bit of a pig when it comes to food and has become aggressive when approached so this will need work and someone willing to put in the time to address that issue. He has not been socialised with children however small children may not be suitable as he does jump and can get excitable which may cause issues if not managed.
As a Jack Russell he will need daily exercise and activities to keep his mind stimulated otherwise he may get bored, however he also enjoys a daily nap and also enjoys watching tv.
