About Temaki
Temaki or commonly called Missy by her foster family is a gorgeous pup with plenty of sass. She came into care at the age of 2 weeks and was bottle fed by her foster mum.
She is a confident girl who sticks up for her brother and loves to play. She would love a big yard to run in or a walk every day to keep her active. She is a real snuggle muffin and just loves the human attention. She is great with kids and other dogs, she is not tested with cats but with a slow introduction sure she will be fine.
Temaki loves her food and is a gentle eater and not food aggressive, she is also learning to sit for her food and her night time treat before bed. She is working on her house training and doing very well when directed where to go. She barks when someone new comes to the house but soon settles when she gets a little attention. She will make a great companion dog or to a home with no other dogs but will need some time with her human family before being left on her own. She loves her toys and her favourite is some rope tied around the pool fence so she can play tug of war on her own.
She has been crate trained and is happy to sleep in it at night and does not have accidents as long as she is taken to the toilet before bed and let out fairly early.
Temaki will make a fantastic addition to any family.

Temaki will be desexed, vaccinated & microchipped. While we are accepting applications and she is available for meet and greets, pickup by her successful adoption will be after vetwork complete (desex and 2nd vacc) on or about 1st May 2019

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee minus $50 (admin fee) will be returned via bank transfer within 5 working days. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
