About Rocky
Introducing beautiful blue staffy Rocky, the ultimate stud-muffin.
We know that most of what we're saying here is probably a waste of time because really, all you're doing is gazing into his immensely beautiful eyes. But if you can tear yourself away for just a moment we can tell you that this spunk has it all - good looks and an amazing personality.
Rocky loves people! He's a super friendly boy who will make a terrific companion. He can be excitable but he knows how to settle down and when he's at home, Rocky is a well-behaved lad who doesn't jump up, bark or destroy things.
He's young, enthusiastic and absolutely made of muscle so this boy does need someone strong and capable to handle him while he gets more experience walking on the lead. But he's extremely keen to learn and will be a very willing pupil.
Rocky has lived with other dogs previously and enjoys the company of other dogs. He would be best suited to living with a similar sized female dog as a companion, or can be your only dog. When he first meets new dogs it is super duper exciting and he can be a little bit rowdy, so introductions need to be done slowly. It's really important that Rocky's new family is committed to continuing his socialisation with other dogs in controlled and relaxed environments so that he retains his friendly personality.
Rocky is unfortunately not suited to living with cats or other small animals.
One thing he needs to steer clear of is sheep and other livestock - in fact, chasing sheep is what got him in the predicament of needing a new home in the first place! He just wasn't cut out for life as a country bumpkin and will be suited to a suburban home with secure fences..
Rocky is friendly with everyone he meets and will likely be okay around kids, with appropriate supervision of course.
He's an all-round really great guy and did we mention how drop-dead gosh darn gorgeous he is??
