About AC1142 - Caesar
😻 MEET CAESAR 😻
Caesar is a quiet, gentle soul, who is still learning that humans are kind. He enjoys hanging out on the couch during the day, and loves sleeping in his cat tree, or in his foster mum's bedroom at night.
Caesar is always waiting for dinnertime with the other kitties in his foster home. He loves food and will let you give him a pat when he's eating. He has impeccable litter box manners too!
Caesar is used to living with other cats and kittens, and he's even cool with dogs. He would be perfect for a home with existing furry family members.
Will you be Caesar's forever hooman and make sure that he knows nothing but love and kindness for the rest of his life?

AC1142 - Caesar
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: White & Tabby
DOB: 10/08/2017
Adoption Fee: $50 reduced adoption fee due to the risk of Feline Infectious Peritonitis.
*Caesar's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment*
Medical notes: Caesar is being treated for Ringworm, a common fungal infection, and Calicivirus, a respiratory infection. He will be able to go to his new home once given the all clear by the vet.
A kitten from Caeser’s foster home likely developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). FIP is a genetic mutation of a common feline infection called Feline Coronavirus. It is not known why some cats develop FIP and others do not, however there are a number of factors including a genetic predisposition. There is no treatment for FIP, the disease is fatal. Dogs and humans are not at risk of transmission of this condition.
There is no way to know whether any of the other fosters in the home will develop it, but after the age of 18 months old, the chances of developing it decreases significantly.
We are asking for a reduced adoption fee due to the small risk of Caeser also developing FIP.
