About Ted
Ted is a very handsome boy who came into care with some behavioural issues which he has been working on.
Ted was unfortunately hurt by a larger dog when he was younger so does have his guard up when meeting new dogs - He has gotten along with the few dogs he has been introduced into in care but does prefer getting buckets of love from his humans instead.
Ted sat down and discussed with the admin team what his wishes were in looking for a new furever home.
* A quiet and calm home where his anxiety would have a chance to dissipate (they do tend to very quickly in a calm environment.
* Someone that is home more often than not.
* Someone that will let him snuggle with them on the couch.
* He loves to go for walks and he is affectionate with people when he is feeling safe and relaxed (he has very delicately reminded us that his human will ALWAYS have to bring a few poo bags as he does enjoy his walk and ritual)
* Someone who understand that a sneeze means he wants to play.
* Ted also likes to bark if someone comes to the house so he needs someone to tell him he's a good boy and then his job is done.
* No cats - he is not a fan
Ted is a house dog preferring life on the couch to a kennel outside any day!

If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
