Mixie and her sister Pixie were originally found in someone's backyard. After some getting used to humans, they were adopted together by a lovely gentleman who sadly unexpectedly passed away. He was adamant that if anything was to happen to him that Mixie and Pixie should be returned to us here at Cat People of Melbourne to be rehomed together to new owners who will love them as much as he did.

Mixie and Pixie are both about 5 year old female short haired cats. Mixie has a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell coat and Pixie has lovely grey stripes. Pixie has a lot of energy and loves to run around and play, while Mixie is quieter and likes a good nap on the bed. They will play together and occasionally fight like the siblings they are! They will be very shy to start off with, hiding themselves away until they feel safe enough to come out. They will also hide away when visitors come over or the vacuum cleaner is on. But they are very affectionate towards their foster carer and Mixie in particular likes to snuggle on the bed (and even under the covers!).

Mixie and Pixie are healthy raw fed cats who have been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (Mixie microchip #953010002717773, Pixie microchip #953010002717787, source #RE101165). They are available for adoption right now!

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
