About Banjo
Please meet Banjo. He is an outdoor 7yo border collie. He isn't as active as we would like due to a touch of arthritis made worse by a weight issue.... Diet required! If you would like a laid back fellow Banjo is for you. He does get active and chase the postie along the fence line 🤣. You might have guessed he loves his food and bones. He doesn't like sirens, thunder, lawnmowers or loud noises. He has a double coat so needs regular brushing. He will come inside when its storming but prefers the outdoor life. Cats don't faze him. He would prefer a home without small children. He is such a gorgeous lug and so loveable.
Banjo is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. He is available for meet and greets and 2 weeks trials for a fully refundable $50. His adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
