About Miranda
Miranda is our itty bitty dwarf kitty. She's fearless and cheeky and utterly devoted to her soulmate, Saxon. She will groom him, romp with him, find him when he's lost and sleep on him, given any chance. The best part? Miranda will love you and your whole family with just as much enthusiasm. This teeny princess has a heart the size of a small planet.
We keep mentioning her diminutive stature. Why? Miranda came into care with her siblings as a sweet, friendly kitten, but we noticed that she didn't grow at the speed of her littermates. Our vet has confirmed that Miranda is a true dwarf. (Yes it really does happen in cats.) Miranda's dwarfism doesn't keep her from doing anything other cats do, except that your kitchen bench is currently safe. She's a climber, not a leaper, and keeps her little body in fighting fit condition with a tall scratching post or play palace. Saxon and she like to pretend they are fierce wildcats climbing trees and chasing prey. We get hours of entertainment from their antics! When our little lovers tire themselves out they look for warm laps, or they curl up together, often with Miranda using Saxon as a whole body pillow. Miranda has some of the strangest sleeping positions we've ever seen and we're currently cataloging them for public enjoyment.
Miranda will always be an indoor cat due to Saxon's needs but, with a good diet and some responsible parenting, Miranda and he will be a joyous loving part of your family for many many years. Her soulmate Saxon's profile is here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/709813
Saxon and Miranda are bonded and must be adopted together. They are healthy young cats who have been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (Miranda #956000010846861 Saxon #956000010846861 Source: RE101165). They are available for adoption right now!

Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
