About Brian
Meet Brian, a 1 year old Stumpy Blue Heeler. He has been in care with us for the last 3 weeks and is full of love and affection, happiness and energy.
Brian gets along well with dogs and enjoys spending his days playing his foster fur siblings outside in the backyard. He is toilet trained and spends the night inside in his crate, although he is more than happy to sneak up and sleep on the bed with you. He knows how to sit and stay and is still receiving training for other commands.
Brian is like all Blue Heelers and loves to chase balls and play with his stretchy tug rope. He will happily bring the ball back for you to continue his favourite game of chase. Brian still needs training for when he goes for walks as he is not 100% confident of the outside world. He has been walked using a Halti (a brand of head halter) and for the first few minutes he tries his hardest to get it off but after that he begins to settle.
Brain is well behaved inside the house and he loves nothing more than to be beside his foster family. The only thing to watch for is to make sure he is not left unattended when there is food around. He would best be suitable to a home with teenagers as they aren't as afraid if he chases them. Brian needs a home with only dogs.
Brian is still very young and full of energy so with some ongoing training he has the potential to be a fantastic addition to the family. You will fall in love with him once you see how loyal he is and also how clumsy and hilarious he can be.
