Merlin - Located in Wallan

Merlin is a lovely cat with a very quirky personality. He has developed a reputation for delighting humans with his hilarious antics and endearing habits, making every day a little bit brighter.

He does some fairly unique things, for instance, Merlin will stare at you from across the room while sitting in a "seductive" pose for an extended amount of time and for no apparent reason. You look at him and he still wont break eye contact! Yes... very unique! Occasionally, he'll forget to put his tongue back in his mouth, a charming little quirk that adds to his oddball appeal.

Playtime for Merlin involves zoomies, scratching post climbing, wrestling with his foster friends (a kitten called Haku who is also up for adoption), batting cat toys around the floor, doing roly-poly's on the carpet, and of course chasing the red dot (laser toy!). Merlin is very independent and likes to do things on his terms, he prefers all 4 paws on the ground but he is more than happy to come up to you for pats and a snuggle.

Merlin's favourite way to relax is by lying on his back with his belly exposed, paws in the air, in the middle of the lounge room. This one-of-a-kind kitty also adores his naps – and plenty of them – so he's the ultimate companion for those lazy afternoons spent cuddling and recharging. At night time he likes to be the little spoon in his foster carers bed and uses the humans pillow to rest his little head.

Merlin's ideal home would be either with or without another cat. He is usually very shy/scared in new environments and with unfamiliar people so he would need an adopter who is willing to give him the time and patience he needs to adjust in a new space.
