Hi there my name is Knox, pleasure to meet you!
How did I end up at the RSPCA you ask? Well...unfortunately my previous owner's personal circumstances changed and they were unable to care for me.
I'm a sweet, sensitive and handsome guy who hasn't had much structure in my short life, leading me to become a quite anxious guy with very little training. I'm hoping to start my next chapter off on the right paw and show my new paw-rents what an amazing pooch I can be, I have so much potential and I'm very willing to learn. I really just need a dedicated family that is experienced with dogs in general to help guide me on the right path.
My hobbies include long bush walks, swimming and chewing on yummy treats. I'm quite a social pooch towards humans and other dogs, I can however be a little forward when meeting less social dogs and will need to managed and praised correctly for doing the right thing. I will need an active family, maybe even a running partner?! I am a ball of energy and wouldn't cope being cooped up and left in a back garden. I want to be included as part of the family, so much so that when I'm left alone I can get quite worried. I would like to go home to a family that either works from home, part time or is home more often then not.
I could live with another social, tolerant older female dog pending a meet. I'm best suited to a home with no kids due to my boisterous at this stage. Lucky for you, part of my adoption includes a 6 week training course and I cant wait until we can book in and learn some new skills. I will be a sweet boofhead in the right home, I just need a family who is keen to put in the work. Come and meet me today so I can win you over!
