About Beau
Meet Beau - such a gorgeous puppy!
His carers describe him as easy going, friendly, outgoing, active and playful - what more could you want from a pup?
As with most puppies, Beau is always very happy and excited to see you - he just adores everyone and everything and wants to play and play. Beau can do great zoomies around the garden when he is in a really exuberant mood.
Beau likes all dogs - big or small - as long as they are friendly with him, and he loves play time with the other dogs in his foster home. Beau is house trained and has learned to use the dog flap so can let himself in and out of the garden. He will walk nicely on the lead when he is on his own but can get quite excited when with other dogs, but this is something that will calm as he matures.
Beau also loves children but would be better suited to older children as he still jumps up in excitement and can get a bit hyper if the children are excited. He is being fostered with pet cats but is quite focused on them and has a tendency to want to chase - this will need to be worked on and would be best if the cat is dog savvy.
Beau has learned to sit and is in the process of learning other commands but he would benefit from his new owner continuing positive training to help him focus and learn boundaries. He is a high energy puppy who loves to run, chase balls and play so would need daily walks and exercise to keep him happy and healthy. His owner will need time and patience to work with Beau - he is a bright little boy and a quick learner but would benefit from someone being around for most of the day. Beau could live with another dog that is also playful, but would benefit from the friendship of a mature dog that can influence positive behaviour and temper his excitability, dependent on meet.
If you think Beau is just the pup you are looking for please send in an adoption enquiry.
