About Zarabi
Are you the patient and understanding person our Zarabi needs?
Zarabi is a big, sassy, independent girl with beautiful eyes, gorgeous colouring and a loud purr.
Sadly, though, it’s likely she experienced significant trauma before she came to us. As a result, she can be anxious and is very fearful of men.
We know she wants to be loved, but you have to earn her trust first. She can get easily overwhelmed and swat you away but once she trusts you she can be a very affectionate girl.
She may not be a lap cat and she does enjoy her own space, but she will let you know when she wants your attention and will happily sit next to you on the sofa or bed.
She frequently runs up to her foster carer meowing and rubbing herself against her legs throughout the day (most notably when she’s hungry). She has the cutest meow and loves to chat!
Zarabi has been in two different foster homes, both of which had a man in the house. Despite them both being cat lovers, she has remained fearful of them.
Zarabi doesn’t like having other cats around. She’s the Queen Bee and she’s simply not keen on competition or sharing the limelight.
Zarabi is a chunky monkey. She loves her food and hounds you when she’s hungry. Food is definitely the way to her heart.
Zarabi needs to be the only cat in an adults-only home (or a home with mature, older children), where everyone understands and respects her idiosyncrasies and lets her do her own thing. That’s particularly important if there are males in the home.
This big girl is happy when she’s well fed, has warm places to sleep, someone to meow to and can pass her days looking out the window at the goings-on outside.
