About Maddie
Just over a week ago Miss Maddie went off on trial adoption. Less than 16 hours later she was rushed to the vet critically ill. With an enlarged spleen, breathing difficulties and fluid on her lungs she was a very sick little girl.
Euthanasia was on the cards but she had a light in her eyes and tried to have a wag in her tail so we decided to keep on going and we are forever grateful we did as just three days later she was home and now a week later she is absolutely healthy and happy with no clinical signs of ever being ill!
We will never know what caused this sudden and severe mystery illness but we are grateful she was taken to the vet and grateful that she’s still with us.
Maddie is a survivor. She’s a vibrant pup full of mischief energy and love and now she’s had the all clear is looking for a family to adopt her.
Maddies mum is a large ridgeback x with a wonderful nature. Maddie is estimated to grow to be a large adult dog. She’s great with kids, cats and other dogs. If you’d like further information about miss Maddie please get intouch for an adoption application and to chat further.
