About Bilby
Check out this stunner!
Bibly is beautiful – her unusual grey/blue coat is matched perfectly with those unique blue/grey eyes that just capture everyone’s attention. This little girl can be such a sweetheart and when it’s nap time in the evenings she loves a good snuggle. She can also be independent and outgoing. She loves to play with toys, particularly her squeaky ones, and is an avid explorer.
Bilby has spent time in care with some bigger older dogs and another puppy. She loves other dogs and is very social. She is more dominant in her play style and will need a home with another strong natured dog who can keep her manners in check. Bilby will be a relatively active dog when she grows up and will need daily exercise and stimulation. Like any pup, she will also need ongoing socialisation in controlled environments and with appropriate dogs.
While in care, Bilby has shown us how smart she is. She has learnt to sit and is doing well walking on a lead. She has done very well with her toilet training and will always take her self outside or let you know when she needs to go. It is very important that her new family are committed to continuing her training to make sure that she grows up to be a well-mannered dog. She should attend puppy school and/or group obedience lessons. Bilby is crate trained and she travels well in the car.
We are looking for a dog experienced family for Bilby who will treat her as part of the family but still enforce basic rules and boundaries. She should be included in the daily activities and outings, be taken to training and socialised appropriately. Bilby will need a home with another medium to large confident dog and someone home most days. She should be allowed inside with the family and will need a comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Bilby is best suited to a family without children and she should be able to be integrated in with other pets with appropriate introductions. Bilby is a gorgeous girl who has a lot of potential to be a great adventure partner.
If you would like to apply for Bilby then you need to go to the Fetching Dogs website and fill in a dog adoption enquiry form as the first step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
