Birch

Hey there my name is Birch! Pleasure to meet you. I'm a happy go lucky guy looking for the perfect place to call my own. I'm a handsome, typical kelpie. The words 'ball mad' and 'energetic' could be my middle name. How did I find my way to the RSPCA you ask? Well... I was found wandering on my lonesome when a ranger came across me and dropped me off. Unfortunately nobody came to collect me, I'm not really sure why. I'm hoping my next chapter will be much more positive and full of love. I will be a great dog for an active family who are looking to include me in daily activities and can keep up with my active needs. Dog sports or agility classes would suit me to T. Once I've settled into my new home I will be so eager to please. I can be a little highly strung at times and can become a little stressed when left alone so ideally I would like to go home to a family who home more often than not. I will need plenty of enrichment to keep my active mind busy during the day by leaving me with lots of food puzzles. I could potentially live with another calm, female dog pending a meet. I'm not too fond of overly excited dogs and can become overwhelmed if they are too much for me. I should not be rushed into any situations where I will feel uncomfortable. Busy places like the dog park and beaches should be taken very slowly with me. I could also live with calm, older mature kids with dog experience pending meet. I'm a very cheeky guy with lots of character and will make an awesome dog for the right family. If you are interested in adopting me please come and meet me today!
