I came into Happy Tails after my family split up and they didn't want me anymore? So, they drove me all the way down from Central Qld and tied me to a tree in another family members front yard and left!

Hey, these things happen and I'm having the last laugh because I've been living with my foster mum and foster brothers and sisters for a couple of months now while I'm on a Jenny Craig diet and they all love me.

I was a bit too well looked after in my previous home and when I first arrived at my foster mums I wouldn't eat ANY dog food I was used to eating human food. My foster mum tried lots of things to get me to eat but eventually my tummy got the better of me and I started eating the doggie food which really isn't that bad.

I was told by the vet I had to loose at least 10kg so as well as being on a diet I have been getting daily runs with the other dogs which I hadn't done for a looong time and I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it. I run around the horse paddock and have no interest in chasing the horses or the kangaroos.

My foster mum says I am the perfect family dog never straying far from her side but happy to be left at home when she goes to work because I know she's always coming back.

I get along with everyone and have even been a foster mum myself to a few puppies while I've been here. I think because of my size they've enjoyed jumping all over me and cuddling up with me when they've worn themselves out.
