Dozer

My name is Dozer and I'm hoping that someone will come to the shelter and sweep me off my paws.
I've had a pretty bad start to my short life, I was brought to the shelter by my previous owner as they were moving and couldn't take me with them. Not only that but I really wasn't equip to deal with so much change seeing as I had never had any training nor been exposed to many new people/places or things. I was really scared when I first arrived but I quickly learnt that people are great and I'm so ready to find my new family. I'm so eager to please and a very quick learner, I have already been taught how to sit, lie down, roll over and shake.
Seeing as I'm still learning the ropes I will need a calm and consistent home who is confident in training and will be prepared to take on a project pooch like me. I may seem a little timid and unsure at first but that's just because my first owners let me down, I really don't want to be left again.
Apart from being super handsome (so the staff say) and being a smart cookie, I'm also experienced in the smooch department, I really enjoy a good belly rub.
Let me be honest with you and say I will need a lot of training, time and consistency to settle into my new home, but when I do I will be fiercely loyal to my new companions. I would prefer to be the only fur baby in the home, I like all the attention to myself. I would also need to go home with an all adult household or a home with older teens. At the moment I'm still learning the ropes and busy places like parks or beaches would be a little to much for me at the moment. I would much prefer quiet strolls around the block when its nice and quiet. In time I could probably have some doggie friends, but I will need to be well settled in my new home and be able to meet them calmly. I know it sounds like a lot of work but I can assure you I'm a sweet dog at heart who's just looking for a second chance. Could you offer me one? If the answer is yes then please come to the Malaga shelter today, I'm patiently waiting.
