Sir Colin is a young Great Dane x Rhodesian Ridgeback who due to no fault of his own is looking for his forever home. He’s an incredibly sweet boy who just wants to be friends with every dog and human he meets. 

Sir Colin loves to run around and play, so would like a house with a backyard and an owner who can take him out for regular adventures. He walks well on the lead and is quickly learning to stop before crossing roads. He spends his days with his 7-year-old foster brother and 3-year-old foster sister, playing tug of war and turning the backyard into their own obstacle course. Even though he loves to use up his energy during the day, one of his favourite activities is cuddling up with his human or canine best friend. He has mastered his puppy dog eyes so is pretty good at making sure he gets lots of your attention.

Sir Colin’s previous owners took him to puppy school, so he’s nailed all the basics but his new owners will need to be committed to continue with his training as he still has some learning to do. Despite his size he seems to think he’s a lapdog and needs to learn about personal space because he’s only going to get bigger! He’s quite clever so will pick most things up very easily.

Sir Colin hasn’t had any exposure to cats whilst in foster care so it’s not known how he will go with a cat in the household. He definitely wants another doggy friend that is young enough to keep up with him so he doesn’t get bored. He’s incredibly friendly and likes to jump up and say hello to every human he meets at home. As he doesn’t know his own size it would be best for him to go to an adult household, or one with teenagers. 

He’s a loyal boy who just wants to find his new family and would love to meet you!
