Hi! My name is Lulu!
I had a "Ruff" start to life on the streets but quickly came out of my shell when I met my foster parents who showered me with that sweet lovin'. I have such a cheeky, gentle and loving personality and make my foster family laugh everyday.
Every morning I am so excited to see my foster parents, I sit and wait patiently for my breakfast and then enjoy 20 minutes of belly pats & cuddles (give or take). Oh, and I demand these belly tickles many times a day!
When they get home from work, I am doubly excited AGAIN and like to run into each room in the house to show them! (Then more belly pats...) They seem to especially like it when I eat geckos and then lick their faces - I know because they make such a fuss over me when I do it! They also love it when I "landscape" the yard, because the vet says its a good way for me to build up my upper body strength... He told them to build me a sandpit! I can't wait!
My "Furever" family should be affectionate, kind & patient with me, as I can take a day or so to come around. They will also need to know that when I was just a pup I had an accident and hurt my foot (damaging the growth plates and the pad) - so I will be counting on them to keep an eye on me and talk to my doctor if need be.
My foster parents say- At the moment, I am happy walking on grass and sand. I can't do really long walks but do like a walk every day. As I grow, there is a small chance that my bad leg will not grow long enough and worst case scenario the vet said I may need to have an operation to remove it... but they will not know that until I'm bigger.
If you take on Lulu please be aware that she may take some extra lovin' to manage her little "Nemo foot".
Unfortunately it is too early in her development to foresee the management but currently she's a happy little pup - walking / running / playing and all she needs is love.
Rest assured, what she lacks in long walks on the beach, she makes up for in personality! Anyone would be so lucky to have this little darling <3
