About Bandit
Cuddly and sweet is the best way to describe this handsome fella but he does need time and patience to get to this point as he is quite timid and shy. We aren't too sure how extensive his abuse was before arriving into care but it has meant he has struggled with a few obstacles and exposures since arriving.
Bandit arrived into care with his two siblings and has shown a significant amount of growth since entering a safe environment. His past and his injuries from this have shown that he hasn’t been given a very nice start to the world and to life.
But he’s blossomed into a sweet and cuddly boy who is looking for a loving and caring home to grow and develop.
Bandit loves other dogs, is in foster care also with cats and goats and has shown to be social with all.
He is looking for a soft and kind home that is happy to continue his exposures to the world and make everything positive and fun.
A home dedicated to continued training and socialisation is best and one with another dog would work great but he may suit a home as an only dog if they’re interactive and moderately active.
Bandit will need to be included as part of the family as well as be allowed inside at night to be close and safe with his new home. Secure and safe fencing is a must of at least 5ft in height but he may suit rural fencing for the right home.
Dog savvy and gentle kids would work best and a home that would be interested in taking him to obedience training to further his skills would work well also.
Bandit is located in the Newcastle area and his adoption fee is $550
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
