About Bear - Meet and Greet organised
We find from time to time a German Shepherd comes into our care that really tugs at our heart strings. Bear is one such dog.
Bear is a registered bred stunning long coated male German Shepherd with blood lines from an exceptional German import.
Bear has been hip and elbow scored with excellent ratings. He has the true attributes of this regal breed, confidence, strong will and such a loving nature that will bond with his human.
Bear is in excellent health and loves his car travel and being with his human pack. Having him in care we can see he needs a confident, experienced shepherd owner who will ensure Bear has firm boundaries and structure to his day.
Bear is suited to a single owner or a couple who will share the care and training for Bear. This boy is strong minded and intelligent he thrives on having a job to do and having inclusion in the home to be around his human pack.
Best suited to an active couple or single owner. Due to his size and strength he is not suited to a family with children.
Bear is not suitable to go to a home with cats, pocket pets or small dogs.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
