About Moose
Arriving to stay with his foster mum at just 6 days old, little (big!) Moose is a bottle raised baby. Despite his size he is soft as marshmallow and he loves to be loved!
He has been raised in the warmth of his foster mums home, surrounded by his siblings, big 4 legged foster brother and sisters and and as a result never been left on his own. Moose won't respond well to a home without another dog nor would he enjoy being left alone often. He actually finds time alone quite stressful.
Moose loves cuddles, he will chat away and tell you when he wants to be smothered with love, he particularly loves one of his foster sisters, a big Bull Arab, he follows her around and waits for her to lie down so they can wrestle away. He also thinks stuffed toys, rope toys and yummy chew treats are amazing!
In general Moose is pretty calm, as long as he has he loves ones are near by, the perfect home for Moose will be someone who is home more often then not, allows him inside as part of the family and someone who has another dog. Moose finds sudden change a little daunting, he likes security and consistency and he wants to know what is expected of him. He can sometimes be shy if he isn't introduced to what is expected of him slowly and gently, he will try to find his foster mum if he is worried, looking for reassurance and one big cuddle.
Moose has experience with crate training, play pens and outside time, he also has been out an about and visited new places and new experiences, he is very comfortable in the car, falling asleep as the drive starts. Moose only has ever slept inside, it would be important to Moose for this to continue. Moose is going to be big, training and socialising is vital, he is treat and you driven which will make training him easy.
