About Brax
"Ruff! Ruff! Hurow!!". My name is Brax and I'm such a little hottie mixed rottie. Everyone thinks I am an unpolished diamond geezer! Brax the Brave - my needs haven't always been met in the past, but that hasn't stopped me from smiling and having an affectionate, gentle temperament. I love to get up and balance on things. My photographer accidentally pushed me off a seat in the park I was on and I didn't even flinch! I just got right back up on the seat and sat back down while trying to lick her face!
When I was given to my foster carer Dad, he had to remove over 300 ticks from my ears and fur coat. I still have the scabs as I'm healing. I was a bit shy at first but I have really bonded with my foster carer and have absolutely flourished with his TLC and attention. Life in foster care is WONDERFUL!!
I have beautiful, trusting brown eyes and a placid nature. I am keen to please and I never took my eyes from my human foster Dad the whole photo shoot. I'm always checking he's okay, I adore him completely because he has shown me what love and patience can feel like. I do need a family who can spend the time to train me - firm but fair with this diamond in the rough. I am very afraid of cars and utes so I will need time and care for someone to teach me it's okay. I will get in the car because I want to please you but I try to hide in the footwell.
I've only been with my foster carer for a few weeks and already I have made huge improvements. I have been taught how to sleep nicely on the bed, I'm working on my sit and recall. I'm not sure what to do with a tennis ball yet. My carer will throw it for me and I will just stand and look at it!! I'm outdoor toilet trained and I get on super well with my foster brother dog. We have great fun together and we are fantastic company for each other when our Dad goes to work. I reckon I would be a great best mate for older kids out there as I bond easily with a little love and I'm a loyal boy.
My photographer thinks that the black markings around my eyes look like a superhero mask!! Shy and not fully trained but with a little bit of polishing, this diamond pup will make the perfect sidekick, an excellent Robin to your Batman!!
