About Amy ðŸŒ
This happy little senior girl is Amy.....whilst she did arrive in care a little on the chubby side, her carers have worked hard on reducing some of this excess weight and she's now looking great! Amy is in foster care with 6 other dogs, 2 horses, chickens, and of course her humans. She's such a friendly little lady who gets along with everyone she meets.
Amy is toilet trained, uses the doggie door like a pro and sleeps in her Teepee of a night inside....she's a quiet girl who would make the perfect little lap dog. For 10 years young, Amy is still quite active and often tries to keep up with her younger foster friends. She loves her soft toys and enjoys a game of Tug o war with her foster mum & dad.
Other than her snoring (which has reduced since losing some weight), her little snorts and grunts that go hand in hand with the flat nose breeds, Amy is a quiet little girl who is happiest just hanging out with her humans. She did arrive in care with quite a bad ear infection which was treated with a fairly lengthy course of antibiotics. Her ears are now looking good and with weekly ear cleans, should stay that way. Amy is not always responsive to noises or sounds and we are unsure how much she can actually hear, but this does not stop this little madam from enjoying everything life has to offer.
Amy is currently eating Science Diet Perfect Weight dry food and would need to continue on with something similar to this in her new home.
The perfect home for this little sweetheart.......Amy would adapt well in just about any home, but she would ideally suit an older person who was looking for a little companion. She has not been around children while in foster care but we believe she would be fine with older children. She does not need a large yard and will only be going to a home where she was allowed to live both inside and outside as part of the family.
Amy is ready to meet her potential new family, so please provide us with as much information as possible about you, your home and lifestyle and what sort of life you can offer this gorgeous girl, so her foster family can organise some meets! She is located in Wyee Point on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
