A beautiful soft soul with so much love to offer her furever family. Keeki is very intelligent and a quick learner with some goofiness to add to her character.
She would be suited to family situation where there are primary aged or older children to play.
Keeki will tolerate other dogs although her being the only dog in the household will let her shine.
She is very playful and loves toys, she is very friendly towards other dogs, although, Keeki can become a little fixated and is still working on how to share with other dogs. Keeki will chase and bring a ball back all day if there is a willing person to keep throwing it for her.
She is very friendly, cuddly and playful, Keeki loves attention from all people, again, until she becomes settled and knows she is safe in her new home she can at times be reluctant to share that attention with another dog. Initially, supervision would be needed around other pets during feeding and game play.
Keeki responds well to her name and knows how to sit and sometimes drop. Practice and consistency will be the key. House trained and doggie door trained.
Ideally, she would love to be walked at least once a day! She is quite new to walking on lead, with verbal reminders and not allowing her to take control she will wander next to you quite nicely.
A person or family that is prepared to put some time into allowing an understanding of building good boundaries through basic training and knowledge of doggy behaviours will help Keeki to find her appropriate place in the ‘pack'.
She loves to explore and is very inquisitive! Loves the hose and water play. She is happy to sit in the sunshine but absolutely loves to be curled up near her humans as much as she can be.
The foster family she has been with is cat free, so it is not known how she would tolerate a home with cats. She has only briefly met some small humans and was gentle towards them, although there has not been enough experience in foster care to give further details.
Keeki is a great dog with a lot to offer a family prepared to offer her the love and attention she needs.
Keeki is microchipped, desexed and up to date with vaccinations. She has no known health concerns.
Located in Frankston.
