About Lady
Lady
Lady by name but a fun in the backyard
Lady is a loving little girl, she loves cuddles, pats, kisses and outside play. She is super affectionate, really enjoys human interaction and is showing early signs of high intellect and responsiveness to training. Being a kelpie, they are naturally very clever and show fascinating traits such as 'rounding up' our 10-year-old Maltese cross. Like most dogs, she enjoys chewing on a tasty bone or various toys and items found in our backyard. Lady has a beautiful silky coat, it would not take her long to be house trained and sleeps all night. She only barks if she wishes to alert you or the neighbouring dog sets her off. Each morning, she eagerly awaits our two children to wake up and come play before heading off to school.
Lady is ever so gentle and sweet, her pretty brown eyes look at you with such kindness. She has found her way into our hearts in such a short time. It will be love at first meeting for this little lass.
Lady spends plenty of her time playing with her big brother 'Tramp' and finds ways to entertain each other (toys, chasing games and jumping). When greeting you she waits patiently or follows you until interacted with, never jumping up on you for pats or attention. Lady’s foster family consists of a female Maltese X (aged 10), male cat, two children (aged 4 & 9) and two adults. She has shown playful cheeky affection to all of us equally and is happy to sit or follow us around curiously. She has been sleeping outside and is yet to enjoy the pleasures of being an inside dog (we’d prefer this to be his final family’s decision!). She was not sure about his first bath and will need more practice.
Lady's ideal home would either be with a family who's keen on spending plenty of activity time day to day, walks and toys. She is quite petite now, may grow into small kelpie size, she walks with elegance and grace. Lady will need to attend puppy school and will be thrive with an active home environment. She has displayed beautiful manners and will appreciate love and affection
