Tigger

Our king of the (cattery) jungle is ready to stretch his legs in a new home and win the hearts of a forever family. Tigger has all the fine features of a typical tom cat (those chubby cheeks!) with the cuddly character of a teddy bear!

Having spent some time in a past life roaming the streets, Tigger has encountered the best and worst of the big wide world and is now looking for a guardian who will keep him safe and satisfied indoors. Diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) Tigger is best kept inside the home for his own safety and that of other felines he may encounter on the street. He would also do best in a single-cat household, unless resident felines have been vaccinated against FIV or are FIV positive themselves.

Tigger has adjusted well to the indoor only lifestyle here at the shelter; he loves to snuggle in his fluffy blanket and enjoys a morning routine of chatter, waiting impatiently for breakfast to arrive. Though he is only four years of age, Tigger is a quiet and gentle fellow most of the time, content to sit by a window or play independently with a toy. He would make a very tidy and polite housemate, having one of the tidiest condos in our cattery!
