About Mei
Hello, my name is Mei! My beautiful silver tortoiseshell colouring and striking half-half face are the first things you're likely to notice about me, but I'm also endlessly curious and affectionate - I'm always up for a pat or cuddle, or a little stickbeak at whatever you're doing (I love laptops and helping you with work)!
Though I'm a young and spritely girl, I can sometimes be a bit shy and would prefer a quieter, laid-back sort of household where I can form close bonds with my family. I adore snuggling up and giving face kisses to my foster mum!
I've lived with other cats, and have met a variety of dogs large and small - we get along great once I've got my bearings! (Should that be 'cattings'?). My biggest foster brother is a German shepherd and I’m smaller than his head! - but we share our toys and our space without an issue :)
My foster mum is constantly uploading photos and videos of me to Instagram, if you want to follow! @shermanjesss
Like all Maggie's pets, I am microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be relaxed and calm, with a slower pace and ideally no small children. Other friendly pets would be amazing, though!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Mostly pretty chill, considering my youthful age! Though I do enjoy a good play, hanging out with (preferably on top of) my favourite humans is the best thing in the world!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'll be best suited to a child-free home or one with children aged at least 8, where I'm less likely to get frightened by sudden noise or activity.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Chances are I'll take a few days to settle in and suss things out, but then I'll be very friendly and curious - as long as your resident pets are open to having a new pal!

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry-cats. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
