”FOSTER TO ADOPT”
Please meet Trevor an 18mo Jack Russell Terrier. Unfortunately he needs to be an “only dog” as he doesn’t like to share the attention of his humans. He is very friendly with people, has grown up with kids but has a problem with other dogs.
We will provide all food etc. Trevor also requires desexing, vaccination and microchip - these costs will be covered by us. We are just desperately seeking a family who have no other furry animals as we wouldn’t trust him with cats either.
Unfortunately all of our carers have dogs and/or cats.
Trevor’s adoption price will be reduced to $350 for family that takes him under “foster to adopt” terms. $50 refundable deposit if things don’t work out.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
