About Penny ~ Jack Russell X (on trial 28/4/19)
Penny is an 8 year old female Jack Russell cross who is a gorgeous tan and white colour. Number one on her list is being by your side looking at you with her gorgeous eyes that tell you, unconditionally, that she loves you.
Penny is an inside dog with access to outside when she likes. She is going well with her toilet training with only occasional accidents. She sleeps in our laundry but would love to sleep in your room, with you.
Penny needs to be an only dog. Although she does get along with other dogs she likes her human and her toys all to herself. She loves to play with dog toys and will chase them for as long as you will throw them for her.
Penny prefers to stay at home at the moment. We are taking her for short walks and she is a bit unsure of the lead and a bit scared when out of the house. Her preferred form of exercise is chasing down toys thrown for her in the backyard.
Penny is fine with cats and older children who are respectful of animals. She is ok when left on her own but as an only dog will need a home where she has human company a majority of the time.
For more information or to meet Penny, please contact Jaime by email jaihol@bigpond.com or on 0410 491 882, leaving a message with a name and contact details Penny is in foster care in Maryland, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Penny's adoption fee is $350 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
