About Skye ~ Staffy X puppy (on trial 13/4/19)
This very sweet girl is Skye and she is looking for someone to snuggle with her. She thinks she is lap dog and is looking for lap to make her own!
Skye is a 5 month old Staffy x. She isn’t a big girl and loves attention. Being the centre of someone’s affection is exactly what she wants.
Skye would love an active family willing to take her out and about with them. She is as happy in the outdoors as inside. She absolutely loves the beach, to enjoy a swim and a walk.
Skye will sit and come when called but does need someone willing to spend some time in extending her training. She would benefit from some puppy training classes. She does chew a bit so will need chew toys, bones and maybe a clam pool to dig in.
Skye hasn’t had much time on lead when walking as is usually taken to the beach or park for a run.
She hasn’t much exposure to other dogs but has such a good nature, we doubt she would have any issues.
Skye does sleep inside and still has the occasional accident inside, being consistently taken out will help this after food or a sleep.
Skye is an adorable girl who would prefer someone home some of the time as she is still a pup looking for company.
As Skye is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's a bit older.
If you would like to meet Skye, Sharron is taking all enquiries for her. Please text 0423331057 or email sstudley3@bigpond.com Skye is located in Adamstown.
Skye's adoption fee is $550 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
