Billie

Billie is a very spunky little girl who knows how to live! She's very bold in personality, and will spend as much time as possible running, playing, exploring, and getting the most out of what's on offer. She also loves visiting new places and makes herself at home immediately. She is BUNDLES of fun!
When Billie is all tuckered out, she loves nothing more than to snuggle right in with you for a big cuddle. She adores having a big snooze next to her human where she feels the most loved and secure.
As independent as she is, Billie is very people-obsessed and will follow you from room to room, even if she's doing her own thing. Being close to you is the requirement! As she was hand-raised, her love of and trust in people is great. She will sleep with you on your bed if you let her, she'll groom your hair to make sure you're looking your best, and when you step out of the shower she will inspect your feet and make sure you're dry and squeaky clean.
Billie LOVES toys and will appreciate every single toy available to her. She especially enjoys being up high on a cat tree that has lots of different spaces, textures, and activities for her to explore and learn how to play with.
Billie is dog, cat, and rabbit friendly, but can be quite energetic and in-your-face with other animals. She would prefer a companion or three in the household, with at least one cat/kitten at her energy level as a playmate. Older children only. Although she is four months old, she is still quite a small, dainty kitten but is very capable of taking on her bulkier brother in rough kitten play! She's a tough cookie, and brings loads of fun and affection with her wherever she goes.

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a house check done, show 100 points of ID and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Deposits are accepted to hold cats & kittens before adoption - this deposit is not refundable (instalment payments can be arranged with the coordinator to pre-approved adopters).
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
Adoptions can be done with a two week foster to adopt arrangement for adult cats only.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion
Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
