About Mishka
We’ve all got fond memories of our teddy bears; delightful little things to hug, play with and receive comfort from. And then we’ve got Mishka, a lovely young one-year-old lady who is a whose name means little teddy bear.
It couldn’t be more apt. Mishka has beautiful bi-eyes and is a sweet, joyful and energetic young lass with her whole life ahead of her. At the end of the day, when she’s exercised and well fed, she loves nothing more than hopping into bed for cuddles with you.
Mishka is very friendly and thinks chest and tummy scratches are the best thing in the world. She’s also chatty, loving to talk and communicate when she wants attention and needs to go outside. She’s done puppy school and has some basic tricks, and we think this is an area where she’d love and enjoy more training and learning.
Mishka loves the dog park, and the fully fenced parks are a necessity as she’s a total husky and, left to her own devices would soon be a fluffy butt dashing off into the distance in search of adventure and other fluffy butts to play with. She’s a typical husky with high energy levels and needs lot of exercise to stay fit and happy.
She’s good with kids and would be well-suited to a family with older kids. Another dog of a similar or smaller size would be great. She’s a bit iffy about bigger dogs so we’d like to avoid that dynamic in her new home.
Mishka likes to do some ‘housekeeping’ digging in the yard, because where else would a young lady stash her bones and toys? The goods news is she’s not an escape artist or fence digger.
Mishka thinks she’s smaller than she actually is and loves to snuggle, and she stays close to her people. She’s also accustomed to sleeping in bed with her humans, as this is clearly the best place to get all the snuggles she wants.
She’s allergic to grains and needs a grain-free diet. For absolutely no reason at all, Mishka is scared of bicycles, scooters and skate boards, but we know with the support of her humans she’ll be fine!
Her people have to make big lifestyle changes for health reasons and are very sad to see her rehomed, but they know it’s the best thing for Mishka.
Miss Mishka is a big puppy girl with a big heart and deserves love and a big garden with a family who will give her the attention she not only deserves, but will give back a million times over.
The usual husky rules apply, with no pockets pets, cats, and 6ft high husky-proof fences.
Medical notes
allergic to grains
