About Thunder DL2138 & Daisy DL2137
Daisy and Thunder are a delightful pair looking for a home to share! Daisy is a 8yo female Cavoodle, and Thunder is a 8yo male Sheltie.
Daisy is a lively and playful dog who just loves to be with people. She especially loves sitting on the couch with you. Thunder is more reserved; he will join you for a good pat, then usually take himself for a lie down on the floor.
Both Daisy and Thunder are very attentive; they will come when called, and stop barking when told to. They are friendly with visitors, though you will certainly know if someone is at the door. They love their daily walks, and Daisy enjoys playing fetch, while Thunder watches on.
They are great with kids, friendly with other dogs, not suited to cats. They are well house trained, and are okay to spend some time at home, indoors or out... just remember to put the bin away, to avoid a certain clever (and opportunistic!) little lady getting her paws on it.
They are intelligent dogs and each know some tricks and will work for treats! Daisy knows sit, paw and fetch, so you will have a lot of fun working on games and activities together.
Thunder is showing some signs of arthritis, but is on a supplement that seems to help him.
Daisy and Thunder are beautiful dogs who just love being with you. If you have plenty of time and love to share, email DFLrescue@gmail.com to apply.
Medical notes
Both weighing in at 11kg, Daisy and Thunder are small to medium sized dogs. New owners must be committed to their ongoing grooming and care.
Thunder is showing signs of arthritis which will need regular monitoring. Currently a supplement is assisting.
