About Winnie
Hi everyone pleased to meet you. I’m Winston but you can call me Winnie. Or anything you like really if you want to be my new Mum and Dad. I’m patiently waiting for my new Mum and Dad, and I really hope it’s you. I’m so keen for my new forever home.
I’m a big softie when you get to know me a little bit, but people think I’m scary – I just think it’s because I’m big and chunky and I have a craggy sort of face. I’m not scary at all; actually I’m a big wuss. I’ll be nervous when I meet you but I’ll wag my tail all low cause I want to meet you and get pats but I’m nervous to begin with. Once I know you though I’ll love you intensely and just want to be with you.
Foster Mum says I’m such a good boy, and quite a catch for some lucky person to adopt cause I’ll be a great family member, though I’m too boisterous and boofy for young kids. I really hope that you have another dog for me to play with, though I’ll need careful introduction and a bit of time to get used to them. My best girlfriend Lucy just went to her new home, and I’m so happy for her, but I do miss our romp and play sessions. Every day I go to work with Foster Mum and she lets me run and play in different groups of dogs and I do a great job, and I’ve been to day care too. I have some foster siblings that are little dogs and I also am very careful with them and she trusts me with them. I’m living with a cat that I’m very curious about but I don’t chase her, though I’m not alone with her at all. I could live with a confident cat.
I want to continue the training that I know, so I would love it if you would take me to class or train me at home, but I really hope that you’ll take me on some adventures. I do look heavyset, but actually I’m very nimble for a big fella – imagine if you taught me agility! What a sensation we would make!
So please don’t skip past me. I’ve been let down a couple of times, and whilst I love Foster Mum, I really want to find my forever dream home. Please send an inquiry and find out if we are suited to one another.
PS I guess I should tell you that I do have one flaw. I snore. Sorry!
Medical notes
Winston has no major medical requirements, but he does take a Zyrtec in some seasons for minor itching.
