About Lucy *Adopted*
Lucy came to us defeated and had the look on her face like she had given up all hope. This poor girl had spent some time on the streets and had clearly been living life hard. Luckily for Lucy she was picked up and handed into a local vet where she was scanned for a microchip but like most strays, she didn't have one. We were called pretty quickly and collected her as soon as we could. I'm so pleased to say that Lucy is like a new bunny! Her coat is lovely, bright and shiney, her face is alot brighter and she has life in her beautiful brown eyes again. Amazing what some intensive TLC and rehab can do to a bunnys outlook on life. We are really proud how far she has come!
Lucy has a beautiful personality, although she has had a tough start she is begining to trust humans again and she knows she is finally safe. Those helicopter ears are just rediuclously cute too!
In terms of food....Lucy is a hay monster and looooves munching on fresh oaten hay! I haven't seen her be fussy at all with her vegies and loves a slice of Royal Gala apple. Basil fresh from the garden is also one of her faves too! Vetafarm Rabbit Origins pellets in the morning, breakfast of champions!
Lucy has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and thoroughly vet checked by The Unusual Pet Vets.
We are looking for a solid home for Lucy, somewhere where she can continue to grow and live out her life as a spoilt happy bunny! There is potential for Lucy in time to be bonded with a desexed male but not in the immediate future (this may take some time)
Medical notes
Lucy has been thoroughly vet checked by The Unusual Pet Vets
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view our beautiful rabbits. We love them all and know you will too!
If you would like to know more regarding our rescue or considering adopting one of our precious bunnies, please contact us via phone or email. After our chat, if it sounds like you may be a suitable match we will send you through a application form (step 1).
Once we have received your forms and feel you would be a good fit for our rescue bun/buns, we will arrange a time for you to meet (step 2). Occasionally, we may organise a house check to ensure that your setup is safe and secure. If you feel comfortable and we feel comfortable with you and the bunny together an adoption fee is paid and your welcome to take your new family member home on a 2 week trial (step 3). If after the trial your more than sure your new family member will fit perfectly into your life, you will officially adopt! (step 4) On the other hand, if you have a change of mind or circumstance we ask you return them to us immediately.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
