About Toesie
Hi there, I’m Toesie. At 12 years old, I’ve not known what it’s like to live in a home as I’ve spent all of my 12 years sleeping outside in kennels. I’d very much like to see out my twilight time with a comfy warm bed and know the love of a family.
I’m a bit unsure of what’s going on at the moment as this is all very new to me, so I’d love a quieter home (without kids or older kids only) so I don’t get too overwhelmed and a home where I have company more often than not. I might be okay with calm dogs for company, but I’d have to meet them first – I’m a bit frail you see.
If you can find it in your heart to give an old girl like me a loving home before the chill of winter sets in, I’d be forever grateful.
*Due to her age, Toesie is classed as a ‘sanctuary dog’ and will have all of her vet bills for age-related conditions covered for the rest of her life.

Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
