About Monty
This dear little boy was “found” on a lonely country road beside a bucket of water and a blanket. Unmicrochipped, nobody came forward to claim him.
He had a number of fat ticks on him, including a mass of smaller ones forming a thick crust just above his eyes.
Someone had removed some of his matted coat with scissors, but a lot of matting remained.
Monty is just the loveliest, placid boy imaginable, he was so cooperative about being clipped where necessary and never once complained. Monty has a super soft coat, probably because he’s still a puppy. His new family will need to be prepared to have him groomed (clipped) several times over the warmer months each year.
Monty loves everyone he meets, whether dog or humankind. He absolutely adores a cuddle. He can walk on a leash and sit for his meals.
We want a home for Monty where he will be both an inside and outside dog, where someone is home more often than not, a home with another dog and where he can sleep in his new owner’s bedroom. Please, no busy young families.
Monty is in care with me at Moree, NSW, he is one of those extra special rescue dogs that we get once in a while.
Moree has daily flights to Sydney and further afield.
Medical notes
Microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
Monty weighs around 4 kilos.
